Supporting young people with SEND

Young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) can benefit from an event being organised in Dudley.

The ‘supporting young people with SEND in making informed decisions about their futures’ event runs from 10am to 2pm at Saltwells Education Centre in Netherton on Friday 20 September, with registration from 9.30am.

Dudley SENDIASS service, which provides impartial support and advice to young people with SEND and their families, is aiming the event at young people aged 14 – 25 and those who support them.

It has been organised to inform and support the young people in making decisions relating to their special educational needs and disabilities and will bring together the wide range of services and agencies available as they make their transition into adulthood.

The event is free but people should reserve a place in advance by calling 01384 817373. To find out more about Dudley Council’s SENDIASS service people can visit https://www.dudley.gov.uk/dudl... or call 01384 817373.
